After serving 12 years in the Royal Air Force as a Nurse, I wanted to follow my passion and do something I truly believed in: that the best food is made fresh, right in front of you. With a little bit of theatre and a lot of love. I didn't want to just open another cafe, I wanted to bring the street-side magic of an authentic crêperie to the local community, but with a twist. That is where my trailer entered the story. After months of searching for the right unit I found Winnie on facebook. When I viewed her I knew straight away she was perfect! I just loved her vintage look and her colour combo looked stunning. So Winnie found herself having a new life from being a 1980s Rice horse trailer to being a fresh, bright mobile crêperie vintage style. She always gets compliments wherever she finds herself.
I specialise in ultra-thin, delicate crêpes that cater to every craving. Whether you are a sweet-tooth chaser (like me!) or a savoury seeker, I have you covered.
Why should you book me?
- I use high-quality, fresh ingredients. All my crêpe mix is made from scratch - I do not believe in adding water to a powder mix. That is not authentic and just does not taste good! I know exactly what goes into my crêpe mix, because I put it there.
- I believe street food is performance art. Watching your crêpe being spun and flipped is half the fun!
- Street food should be fun and make people smile. Whether it is a morning rush or a weekend treat, every customer is treated like a friend.
- Everyone deserves a treat, which is why I offer gluten-free and vegan options at no extra cost, so no one misses out.
